Key Goals

Our Mission

At The StitchLab, our primary objectives are to:

Provide high-quality sewing training to 42 young women from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Equip participants with financial literacy and business management skills.

Support trainees in marketing and exporting their handmade products.

Offer ongoing mentorship and access to necessary equipment for continued growth.

Foster a supportive community that encourages entrepreneurship and economic development.

Community Economic Development

Community economic development is crucial for addressing systemic poverty and unemployment. By providing comprehensive training in sewing, financial literacy, and business management, the project helps participants build sustainable livelihoods.

The initiative not only provides immediate training but also ensures ongoing support and mentorship. This holistic approach helps trainees to successfully transition into the workforce or start their own businesses, thereby fostering economic growth within the community.

Our project also focuses on creating market linkages and export opportunities for the products made by the trainees, ensuring their skills translate into tangible economic benefits.

Through partnerships with local NGOs and international sponsors, The StitchLab is committed to creating a sustainable impact. By equipping young women with marketable skills, we are paving the way for a brighter future for the entire community.
